We reserve the right to amend these Terms periodically, and the revised version will take effect upon its posting on this website. However, you will have the opportunity to review any revised version of these Terms before they take effect. The revised Terms will replace all previous versions. In these Terms, we often refer to these offerings as "Services." Our Services also encompass the Green Ride mobile application ("App"), all other related equipment, maintenance, charging, personnel, our websites (including this one), and any other information, technologies, and services provided or otherwise made available to you through our platform.
2.3 We offer our Services for the convenience of individuals who are able to operate them. The User is responsible for complying with all legal requirements for operating the vehicles, including age restrictions.
3. Green Ride Account
3.1 Setting Up an Account. To use our Services, you must create an account, which requires a valid debit or credit card or another approved payment method with an expiration date (transmitted to our third-party payment processor—we do not receive or store this information), along with other information as requested depending on the Service. The information you provide must be truthful, accurate, complete, and updated as necessary to remain accurate. You must create a username and a strong password and not share them with anyone else; your account is solely yours, and you are responsible for all activities that occur under it. Notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account. For more information on how we use your personal information, please refer to our Privacy Policy available at https://greenride.rent/privacy-policy.
3.2 Fraud Prevention. We take fraud prevention very seriously, both for your protection and ours. You may only use a payment method that you have a legal right to use, and by providing it, you authorize us to charge this payment method for any costs you incur. If we suspect that any information you provided is inaccurate, incomplete, or fraudulent, we may suspend or terminate your account until the issue is resolved. During this time, you may lose access to some or all of our Services, temporarily or permanently.
4. Use of the Green Ride App and Services
4.1 The Green Ride App allows Users to find, reserve, and rent our available vehicles. Please understand that, for technical and other reasons, we reserve the right to accept or decline your booking requests. If your booking through the App is declined after your request, you will receive an appropriate refund, provided your payment method was originally charged. If, for any reason, the prices in the App are incorrect, we reserve the right to decline the corresponding booking and refund your money.
4.2 To access the Services, the User must register through the Green Ride App using their mobile device.
4.2.1 The App is available in multiple languages, ensuring accessibility for a diverse user base. The App provides data on available electric vehicles (e-scooters, scooters, bicycles, etc.), their location, and other relevant information, making it easier for Users to find and use our Services.
4.2.2 To provide the Services, Green Ride may track the location of your mobile device via the Application. Depending on the location of your device, the provision of the Services may be limited. These restrictions will be known through the application interface. Since the availability of our Services may change over time, there is no definitive list of cities in which we provide the Services.
4.2.3 To access the Services, the User must install the Green Ride Application and register a User profile (“Profile” and/or “Account”). During the installation of the application, you will be offered several options for registering in the application, after which your phone number and email address will be added to our database.
4.2.4 The Green Ride Application may be updated from time to time in order to offer the User the best service. Access to the Services available through the Application is possible only with an Internet connection. There are no special technical requirements for connecting to the Internet; however, the quality of the Service may depend on the speed of the Internet connection. The Application is available on Android and Apple devices in accordance with the latest software updates.
4.2.5 In the event of malfunctions in the Green Ride Application, we will do our utmost to correct them as soon as possible, but the User agrees and acknowledges that the functionality of the Application may be limited from time to time due to technical errors or unavailability of computer systems and/or third parties. Therefore, we cannot always guarantee unlimited and uninterrupted operation of the Application. Except in cases of willful misconduct and gross negligence, Green Ride disclaims all liability for any damages incurred as a result of the inability to function or use the Application in accordance with the User's needs.
4.3 We strive to maintain the functionality of the App and Services in accordance with industry standards and best practices, such as ISO 27001/27002, where possible and not conflicting with other agreed requirements. Please notify us as soon as possible in the mobile application under the "Report a problem" section or by contacting us at support@greenride.rent.
5.4.2 If you notice any faults with the vehicle, do not use it. Book another one instead. If you notice anything during use, stop the ride as safely and as soon as possible. If you do not report these problems, we may have to hold you responsible for them, including any associated costs.
5.4.3 By agreeing to this Agreement, you understand and assume all risks that may arise from using the vehicle. You will be personally liable for: loss of profit, loss of data, personal injury, death, property damage, damage to third parties, etc., which may arise from using the vehicle. Concerning the costs payable for this reason, Green Ride's right of recourse to you (the User) is reserved.
